Refunds and Cancellation

1. Course Seats

A seat can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, provided no certificate has been issued on it and fewer than 20 percent of the volume's sections have been passed. The quizzes make that checkable. Chapter 1 and one signature section of each volume are free to read before buying, and that is the preview.

2. Unactivated Team Seats

Seats bought for a team and never activated can be refunded, or converted to a credit, within 30 days of purchase. A credit is a code for a whole seat's value, entered at checkout on a later purchase; any remainder below a seat is forfeited, so credits are issued whole-seat. On an invoiced order the credit is applied by hand.

3. Stripe's Role

Card sales are made by Stripe as merchant of record. Stripe may refund a card purchase within 60 days at its own discretion, whatever this policy says, for example after a support case raised with Stripe or Link rather than with KCSC. When Stripe refunds a purchase in full, every seat on it is revoked. When Stripe refunds part of a purchase, unassigned seats are revoked first, up to the refunded amount at the seat price, and KCSC settles the rest with the buyer.

4. How to Ask

Email training@kcsctraining.com from the address on the order, with the order id from the receipt. Refunds are decided within five business days of the request.

5. How Refunds Arrive

Refunds go to the original payment, including the tax collected, by Stripe for card purchases and by KC Service and Consulting LLC for invoiced orders. Card refunds usually appear within five to ten business days, depending on the card issuer.

6. What Happens to Seats and Certificates

A refunded seat is revoked at once. Its progress is kept for the record but cannot be continued. A certificate issued on a refunded seat is revoked and its verification page says so. A refunded renewal returns the seat to its previous expiry date and never revokes the seat.

7. In-Person Weeks

• A week is always quoted, and a quote is valid 30 days. Booking is on acceptance of the quote.
• Rescheduling is free 30 or more days before the week.
• Inside 30 days, non-refundable travel already booked is billed.
• Inside 14 days, half of the week's price is billed.
• Seats issued for the pre-work stay with the attendees whether or not the week goes ahead.
• The class is capped at 12, with hands-on groups of 6. More than 12 is a second week. There is no minimum headcount.

8. Invoiced Orders

The same seat rules apply. A refund on an invoiced order is paid by KC Service and Consulting LLC to the paying organization, by the method it paid, within 30 days of the decision. Invoices paid by card carry the card-processing line, which is refunded with the rest.
